    Alongside its new GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs , Nvidia has also officially unveiled an upgrade to its supersampling tech with DLSS 3, and in an update published on its official website, the company has provided further details on exactly how it improves upon the existing tech.
    As per Nvidia, DLSS 3 combines DLSS Super Resolution, the all-new DLSS Frame Generation, and NVIDIA Reflex to provide up to 4x performance boosts for games. As you'd expect the results are best if you're using the technology on the new 40 Series GPUs.

    Today's NVIDIA's big announcements and we finally get the official word on the next generation of video cards. The GeForce RTX 4090 and the GeForce RTX 4080 will be the next iterations for NVIDIA using an architecture code named Ada Lovelace.
    NVIDIA says the GeForce RTX 4090 will be up to 4X better than the GeForce RTX 3090 and be available on October 12th starting at $1599.
    For the GeForce RTX 4080, there will be two variants initially with versions containing 16GB of memory starting at $1199 and one with 12GB of memory starting at $899 to be released in November.

    I'll admit that I haven't read a single thing about what the new RTX 40 Series GPU s give us. I know they are going to cost over a grand and that there are two models of card coming, but that's about it. I saw some tweets about AI and someone mentioned Morrowind, at which point our video producer Jim Trinca fell off his Star Trek chair.

The former costs $1600 and features 24 GB GDDR6X RAM - it's touted as being two to four times faster than an RTX 3090 Ti. It has a base clock of 2.23 GHz, a boost clock of 2.52 GHz and 16384 CUDA cores, and outputs at a whopping 7680×4320 resolution.
