The game's social media accounts have announced that update 1.10 is live in most regions, bringing new playable character Zangetsu and the Randomizer mode.     The Outer Worlds came out last year and definitely scratched a certain itch for RPG players. The game has so far sold over 2.5 million copies across current systems. But it's about to go portable with a Switch version that will come early next month. We have seen a little of the port, with some screenshots not long after it was announced , and now we get a bit more.

The game is due to launch in less than one month on June 5, and somehow these new images seem to make the wait even more unbearable. The game was originally slated to launch on March 6 but was pushed back in February due to the COVID-19 novel coronavirus pandemic.     We're coming up on the final, at-last, gonna-happen June 5 Nintendo Switch release for The Outer Worlds. How's it shaping up? We haven't seen much gameplay footage yet, but Obsidian did release a batch of screenshots with Vicar Max, Nyoka, and that poor vendor trapped in a Moon Man getup.
    I'm coming in with low expectations for the port's visual fidelity on Switch, and that was not a mistake. The Outer Worlds ' textures and assets, in particular, took a big hit compared to the PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions. It is what it is, though - as long as the game runs moderately well, I don't mind...
