• Ninjala Tops Eight Million Downloads

    GungHo Online Entertainment announced the free-to-play online action battle game featuring ninja and gum, Ninjala , has surpassed eight million downloads since it launched on the Nintendo Switch on June 24, 2020.
    This is up from seven million downloads in May 2021, six million in January 2021, five million in late August 2020, four million in the middle of August 2020, and three million in the middle of July 2020.
    To celebrate the milestone, everyone who logs into the game before December 1 will get 100 Jala, the in-game currency, for free.

    Metroid Dread has debuted in first place on the retail charts in Japan with sales of 86,798 units, according to Famitsu for the week ending October 10, 2021.
    Far Cry 6 debuted in second with sales of 34,219 units. The PlayStation 5 version debuted in third with sales of 16,686 units.
    Seven of the top 10 are games for the Nintendo Switch, two are for the PlayStation 4, and one is for the PlayStation 5.
    The Nintendo Switch was the best-selling platform with 179,851 units sold. This was lead by the launch of the Switch OLED Model, which sold 138,409 units. The base Switch sold 32,792 units...

    Famitsu has released the data for last week's software and hardware sales in Japan, and it was a pretty big week for Nintendo. Metroid Dread launched last week, and just as it did in the UK , it enjoyed a solid debut in Japan as well, topping the charts with nearly 87,000 units sold.
