• Grand Theft Auto V Has Sold 95 Million Copies

    In the past quarter, Grand Theft Auto V has sold five million copies, according to Take Two's latest financial report. That puts the Rockstar game up to 95 million copies sold.
    The game handily cleared the bar of best selling game in U.S. history last November and has just been adding on since then. The new number makes it a virtual guarantee that the game will sell 100 million copies before the end of 2018. Take Two is also leveraging the success of GTA Online with the recently released Grand Theft Auto V: Premium Edition, which is the game plus some extra in-game cash.

    In news that surprises no one, 2K Games has announced that WWE 2K19 will be coming out this fall. And, that's it. Nothing else. I'm sure we'll see more come E3, but today was just to say, "Hey, we're making another one."

    I guess we can guess on who will be this year's cover athlete. My guess will be the Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman. He's been a pretty big babyface these past months and I wouldn't be surprised if he's named the next cover wrestler.

    Take-Two Won't Announce New Games at E3 2018

    Take-Two president Karl Slatoff announced during the financial conference call for the company discussed plans for E3 2018.
    Take-Two, which includes 2K Games and Rockstar Games, will not announce any new games during the event next month.
    The company recently announced one of the "highly-anticipated title from one of 2K's biggest franchises" has been delayed to fiscal year 2020. That is between April 1, 2019 and March 31, 2020.
