    [ Update: As expected the rollout seems to be a mess. The official Twitter account didn't update anyone when the process began, leaving many fans in the lurch as to how they should actually buy the new Animal Crossing line. After many requests, it provided a link to the waiting room .
    In addition, after a lot of hype, they are reportedly only selling Isabelle and Tom Nook SKUs at this time (which might be the entire "line" altogether).     The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Build-A-Bear Workshop promotion has begun, with at least Isabelle and Tom Nook revealed and up for grabs. They cost $51 each, and due to high demand, you must currently enter a “waiting room” (i.e., a digital queue, as if you're trying to get tickets for New York Comic Con) in order to receive access to the dolls / plushes / whatever kids call them now.     Build-A-Bear has announced another collaboration with Nintendo, bringing the adorable critters of Animal Crossing to their stores later this year.
    The retailer announced their new collection on Twitter today. Animal Crossing ‘s menagerie of fluffy anthropomorphic animals is a perfect fit for Build-A-Bear's line of customizable teddy bears, especially given the rampant success of the series' latest installment, New Horizons.     You will have a chance to order your very own Animal Crossing Build-A-Bear today. Orders for the Animal Crossing Build-A-Bear toyline will go live today, and the way things sell out, you may wish to get line early online. The collection will be revealed and go online at 8am PDT / 11am EDT / 4pm BST / 5pm CEST. Right before orders are ready to be taken, there will be a waiting room where you can get in line.
