    PlatinumGames' Bayonetta 3 has been in development for a long time. Initially announced at The Game Awards 2017 , it finally received some gameplay last year along with a 2022 release window. Lest one would think it slips again, Nintendo revealed in its financial results for the fiscal year ending March 2022 that it's still coming this year.

    Along with providing updated lifetime sales figures for the Nintendo Switch and the new Pokemon games , Nintendo has also done the same for a number of other Switch titles in its latest fiscal report , including several that have launched over the last year.     Nintendo's recent quarterly fiscal report saw the company announcing updated sales figures for a number of its games , as well as updated lifetime hardware sales numbers for the Nintendo Switch. At the same time, the company has also updated its list of the ten best-selling first party Switch games to date.
    Unsurprisingly, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is still top, with 45.33 million units sold, which is up from the end of December by 1.78 million units. Combining its sales on the Wii U and the Nintendo Switch, its lifetime sales now stand at 53.79 million units, up from 51.81 million .

    Sony Interactive Entertainment in its financial results announced it has shipped 19.3 million PlayStation 5 consoles as of March 31, 2022.
    With 19.3 million PlayStation 5 consoles shipped through the end of March 2022 that means 2 million units were shipped from January to March. This is down from 3.3 million for the same quarter a year ago. Demand for the console remains well above what Sony is able to supply.

    Nintendo has announced in its latest quarterly fiscal report that the Nintendo Switch has sold 107.65 million units worldwide as of March 31, 2022, up from 103.54 million units sold as of the end of 2021. It sold 4.11 million units in Q4 of FY 2021-22.
    Throughout the entirety of FY 2021-22, the Switch sold 23.06 million units. That's down 20% from what it managed in the preceding fiscal year , though with the global semiconductor shortage and subsequent supply constraints, that's hardly a surprise.
