    Arkane Studios' stylish new assassin game, Deathloop , has been postponed from its intended May release date, and will now launch in the fall.
    Director Dinga Bakaba and art director Sebastien Mitton issued a statement this morning: “We're committed to quality and preserving our team's ambitions for Deathloop while ensuring the health and safety of everyone at Arkane. We'll be using this extra time to accomplish our goal: create a fun, stylish, and mind-bending player experience.”
    Arkane Studios needs a little more time to realize their “mind-bending” goals for Deathloop.

    Bethesda and Arkane's limited-time PS5-exclusive Deathloop , once on track for a May release date, has been pushed to September instead. Deathloop will now release on September 14, 2021. In a short video from Arkane, they cited the desire to achieve the strong vision they have for Deathloop , while also ensuring the health and safety of everyone in the studio.     Publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer Arkane Lyon have delayed Deathloop from May 21 to September 14. The game will launch for the PlayStation 5 and PC.
    This is the second delay for the game, which was originally planned for a holiday 2020 release before it was delayed to Q2 2021, and later given a May 21 release date.
